Refund & Cancellation Policy

Najikei — Nepal's nearby marketplace · Last updated: July 2026

1. What this policy covers

This policy covers only Featured Listing payments made directly to Najikei via eSewa or Khalti. It does not cover money exchanged between buyers and sellers for items themselves — see our Dispute Policy for that.

2. Once a Featured Listing is active

Featured placement takes effect immediately after payment is confirmed and runs for the full duration you paid for (3, 7, or 14 days). Like most ad placements, we do not offer partial refunds for unused daysonce the listing has started appearing in the Featured section — the placement and views it received cannot be "returned."

3. When you ARE entitled to a refund

  • You were charged but your listing was never actually marked Featured due to a technical error on our side.
  • You were charged twice for the same Featured Listing request.
  • The payment gateway confirms the charge failed or was reversed on their end, but our records still show it as paid.

4. When you are NOT entitled to a refund

  • Your listing is removed by moderation because it violated our Terms (fake, prohibited, or fraudulent listing) — the violation is the reason for removal, not a service failure on our part.
  • You sell the item and want to end the Featured period early — the fee already paid for is non-refundable, non-prorated.
  • You simply change your mind after the listing is already Featured and receiving views.

5. How to request a refund

Contact us with your transaction ID (shown in your payment confirmation) within 7 days of the charge. We review each request against §3 above and respond within a reasonable time.

6. How refunds are processed

Approved refunds are returned to the original eSewa or Khalti account used for payment, subject to each gateway's own processing timelines. Najikei does not process refunds to a different payment method or account than the one used to pay.

7. Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of Nepal, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2075 (2018) and the Payment & Settlement Act, 2075 (2019).
